A blend of rums from five distilleries, each aged between three and twelve years then filtered to remove the colour. The rums are from Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados and Guyana, with the intriguing addition of some Batavia Arrack from Java. As you'd expect, this is a big, characterful rum that sits well in a posh daiquiri.

The makers story

Master Blender Arnaud de Trabuc, whose experience as CEO of Angostura Group, and president of cognac producer Thomas Hine & Company, as well as former managing director of the Caribbean region for Premier Wines & Spirits, gave him the unique ability to source rums from otherwise competing islands. Founded in 2008, BANKS is based in Port Louis, Mauritius
