This dry red wine is produced from a blend of three varietals. Hand-harvested: Okuzgozu grapes from Eastern Anatolia for their unique aroma and fruity attributes. Shiraz grapes are powerful and have a rich aroma. Merlot grapes for their fruity flavours and balanced structure. Intense nose of dark cherry plum, blackberry is sustained by a significant tannin profile. Some original Mediterranean macchia hints give this wine a unique local character.

The makers story

Established in 1926 by Nihat A.Kutman and continuing through three generations. Doluca brings both traditional and contemporary innovatation to wine-making and is dedicated to enhancing cultural awareness of wine in Turkey. There Grapes and wine reflect the unique flavours gained from their terroir in the Saros Region in the northwest of Turkey and being cooled by summer breezes across the Saros Bay.
