Aromas of white blossoms, stone fruit and fresh herbs. Medium weight and dry on the palate with a lightly oily though the wine remains lively and fresh marked by green apple, lemon drop, peach, fresh herbs and minerality. The finish is long and pleasant.  Wonderful concentration and balance.

The makers story

The history of Villa Sparina goes back to the 1700s when it was part of a grand colonial estate immersed in the hills of Monterotondo, in the heart of Gavi, one of the best exposed areas for the production of the Cortese grape. Villa Sparina vineyards spread over 100 hectares of which 70 are reserved for the cultivation of native grape varieties dedicated to the production of Gavi and Barbera.
