Franschhoek's town hall was built in a Cape Dutch style in 1935. Its elegant lines are echoed in this unoaked Chardonnay, the grapes for which were handpicked and cold fermented. The wine shows pure fruit intensity, with attractive pineapple and citrus notes balanced by a lively acidity. Serve chilled on its own or with grilled calamari, roast pork or veal Parmigiano.
