The makers story
This liqueur comes from an ancestral recipe of the Pacheco family in Michoacan, Mexico. El Hispano is a sugar cane spirit, made from molasses, in a column still around 65% abv. Fresh seedless Jalapenos are then added to the vat with the spirit for 45-60 days. After maturation, the liquid is filtered with Purified water is then used to blend down to 30% Vol. Brown sugar is added at the end.
