The makers story

The Portuguese Perdigueiro emerged from the Peninsular Perdigueiro, an ancient breed of Iberian dogs, with its presence documented since the 10th century. Portuguese culture. In the 14th century, it was bred in the royal kennels and was used for hunting wildebeest. Like the perdigueiro, this is a typically Portuguese Douro wine.
