The makers story
Chateau d'Esclans is a wine producer in Provence, specializing in full-bodied, dry rose wines primarily from the Grenache wine grape variety. The chateau was built in the 12th Century and is located on an elevated site, between Saint-Tropez and Cannes. About 44 hectares (110 ac) here are under vine, with Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsaut, Rolle and Syrah all represented.
